The King & I Workshop - Greensboro, GA

NAAP conducted an educational workshop for the students of Greensboro Elementary School in Greensboro, GA on Monday, October 19, 2009. Leslie Denniston and Steven Eng, cast members from the NAAP/OPAS concert production of THE KING AND I, worked with the entire student body of 600+ children. Also performing was THE KING AND I children’s chorus, who performed the March of the Siamese Children with two select students from the student body acting as the King and Mrs. Anna. With the gymnasium as a rehearsal room, all of the students were taught hand choreography and lyrics from one of the songs, which they all performed and sang as an ensemble.
