2026 DISCOVER: New Musicals - Application for Project Consideration

National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) is seeking scripts and scores of short stage musicals for its annual DISCOVER: New Musicals series in New York City.  Co-founded by TONY AWARD recipient Baayork Lee, NAAP showcases Asian-American performers who share their talent and artistry in musical theater.

Selected works will be presented in September 2026 in a staged reading format, performed by professional actors of AAPI descent. NAAP also provides a director, stage manager, musical director, rehearsal space, and a New York theater district venue.

Applications will be accepted through 10pm EDT, Monday, June 22, 2026.
